Get to know more about me

I’m currently a UI/UX designer at Nexa AI and pursuing my master’s degree in Interaction Design at ArtCenter College of Design.

My journey as a designer has been shaped by a unique mix of experiences. I began with a foundation in fine arts, which later evolved as I entered the design industry. I started out as a graphic designer in traditional industries, where I developed skills in visual design, illustration, branding guidelines, and packaging. Now, as a product designer, I’m driven by a passion for creating products that are not only functional but also visually engaging.

Through a chance encounter, my hard-of-hearing friend and I started a sign language club together. This experience gave me a profound appreciation for empathy and patience—their significance and how to bring them into everyday life.

Each step of my career has added layers to my approach as a designer, keeping me motivated to create impactful, human-centered design solutions.

An apple that decided my fate

When I was a kid, I drew an apple in a painting class. The teacher thought I did super well and encouraged me to explore more in painting. That moment marked the beginning of my journey of art practicing and I eventually graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts(西安美术学院) with  a BFA in Fine Art. Some of my works:

A Sweet Dream: My Passion for Baking

If I weren’t a designer, I’d consider being a pâtissier. I’m passionate about food and believe that taste can create lasting memories. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing the happiness on people’s faces as they enjoy my creations.
